Proxion is a front end for Proxmox VE that I built to replace the stock UI. Don't get me wrong, its "ok", but I was coming from a VMware World and had gotten used to certain things. So I decided to spin up my fav AI and build one together with him.

    Here is some info:

Apache-2.0, repo github.com/C2Tech-sys/proxion, demo c2tech-sys.github.io/proxion (fixture data, nothing live)

    20 releases from v0.1.0 on Sep 24 to v0.10.3 on Oct 6; 114 commits; server 781 tests, web 829

Stack: React 19, TanStack Router/Query, Fastify 5, TypeScript end to end, a generated typed client for the Proxmox API

Security model: a read-only API token for browsing, your own Proxmox login for anything that writes, every write on an allow-listed route that checks the Proxmox privilege server-side, TLS fingerprint pinning to the host

Does today: dashboard, inventory tree with live console thumbnails, noVNC console, monitor graphs, hardware editing (CPU, memory, CD-ROM, disks, NICs, boot order, USB/PCI/serial), options, cloud-init, snapshots, backup and restore, clone, migrate, delete, firewall rules, bulk power actions, storage browser with upload/download, alert notifications to email, ntfy, Discord, Slack or Gotify, dark theme

    Listed on both awesome-proxmox lists

Enjoy and check it out and let me know how it looks and works for you. Live Demo is here - https://c2tech-sys.github.io/proxion
